Storm Damage Restoration

Storm Damage Restoration for Lebanon, TN Homeowners

Lebanon and the surrounding Wilson County area see severe weather year-round, from spring tornado warnings and summer hailstorms to fall wind events that strip roofs and topple trees. When a storm hits your home, the clock starts immediately. Water gets in through roof gaps, mold begins forming within 24 to 48 hours, and structural damage compounds if left unaddressed.

CAMCO Construction & Restoration provides storm damage restoration to Lebanon homeowners with the urgency the situation demands. Our crews are licensed, insured, and IICRC-certified, and we respond to emergencies at any hour. From older brick homes near downtown Lebanon to newer construction in subdivisions off Highway 231, we have the equipment and experience to handle it all.

What’s Included in Our Storm Damage Restoration Services

When you call CAMCO after a storm, you are not just getting a contractor. You are getting a full recovery team that handles emergency protection, structural repairs, insurance documentation, and final restoration under one roof.

Emergency Tarping and Board-Up for Lebanon Properties

The first priority after storm damage is stopping additional water, wind, and debris from entering your home. We install heavy-duty roof tarps, board up broken windows and doors, and secure any compromised structural openings. This emergency protection step prevents secondary damage and is typically covered by your insurance policy.

Roof, Siding, and Structural Repairs

Lebanon homes frequently sustain hail damage to shingles, gutters, and siding during spring storm season. Our teams are experienced in full roof replacements, partial repairs, siding restoration, and structural framing repairs. We use materials that match your existing exterior as closely as possible so repairs blend in with the original construction.

Interior Water Damage and Mold Remediation

Storm damage almost always leads to moisture intrusion, and moisture leads to mold remediation needs if not addressed fast. We extract standing water, dry structural materials with commercial-grade dehumidifiers, and treat affected areas to prevent mold growth. Drywall, insulation, flooring, and cabinetry that cannot be saved are removed and replaced to restore your interior fully.

Contact CAMCO today for a free damage assessment and we will walk you through the full scope of what is needed at your Lebanon property.

Signs You Need Professional Storm Damage Restoration

Not all storm damage is immediately obvious. Lebanon homeowners sometimes discover damage days or weeks after a storm when they notice ceiling stains, drafts, or rising energy bills. Knowing what to look for helps you act before minor damage becomes a major repair.

Missing or Damaged Shingles After High Winds

Lebanon storms regularly produce wind gusts above 50 mph that strip shingles, crack ridge caps, and lift flashing around chimneys and vents. Even a few missing shingles can allow gallons of water to enter your attic during the next rain. If you notice granules in your gutters or visible patches on your roof after a storm, call for an inspection.

Water Stains and Ceiling Damage in Older Lebanon Homes

Older homes in Lebanon, particularly those built in the 1970s and 1980s near the historic downtown area, often have aging roofing systems and original windows that are more vulnerable to storm penetration. Water stains on ceilings or walls after heavy rain are a clear warning sign. Ignoring them can lead to rotted rafters, damaged insulation, and mold growth inside wall cavities.

Fallen Trees or Large Debris on the Structure

Wilson County’s mature tree canopy is one of Lebanon’s best features, but it becomes a liability during high-wind events. A fallen tree or large limb can puncture a roof, collapse a deck, or damage exterior walls. This type of impact damage requires immediate structural assessment because the visible damage is rarely the full extent of what has occurred.

Acting quickly after any of these signs appear can mean the difference between a manageable repair and a complete reconstruction. Call CAMCO and we will get eyes on your property the same day.

How We Handle Storm Damage Restoration for Lebanon Homes

Schedule Your Emergency Response

Call CAMCO any time and a team member will take your information and dispatch a crew to your Lebanon address. We prioritize active emergencies where water is entering the structure or safety hazards exist. You do not need to wait for business hours to get help.

Assess the Full Extent of Damage

Our technicians inspect every part of your property including the roof, attic, exterior walls, foundation, and all interior spaces for moisture and structural issues. We use moisture meters and infrared detection tools to find water that is hidden inside walls or subfloors. Every finding is documented in writing and with photos for your insurance file.

Execute Approved Repairs and Reconstruction

After your insurance claim is approved and the scope of work is finalized, our crews begin repairs immediately. CAMCO manages everything from roofing services and siding to reconstruction services for heavily damaged structures. We keep Lebanon homeowners informed at every stage so there are no surprises.

Complete the Final Inspection and Walkthrough

When all work is finished, a project manager walks through the completed repairs with you to confirm everything meets the agreed scope and quality standards. We handle any required city or county inspections for permitted work in Lebanon. Your home is not considered done until you are satisfied with the result.

Camco and their PM Taylor have been amazing to work with. I am in a rental, through a large company. Often times the most unprofessional techs show up and explain very little. Taylor was kind and professional. There was clear communication every step of their scheduling process as well as work. Taylor even left my garage and the area of work cleaner than when work was started. Won't hesitate to use Camco for future project.

Taylor and Anthony with were absolutely wonderful to work with during a stressful water issue in my home. They communicated clearly every step of the way and always made sure I understood what was being done and why. They were quick to respond, personable, professional, and incredibly thorough throughout the entire process. What really stood out was how dedicated they were to making sure everything was completely taken care of. They came by daily for 3 days to check the progress and took extra care to test and ensure there was no moisture left behind. Their attention to detail and consistency gave me a lot of peace of mind. I truly appreciated their hard work, professionalism, and kindness, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

When the ice storm of 2026 happened in Nashville, it damaged one of apartments from bursting pipes and water. I was told to find a "water mitigation" company by my insurance company. I was so glad to find Camco, already on another job on my street. They took charge of everything for me and also dealt directly with my insurance company and also acted promptly with great communication between us. Their employees did a great job for us. I highly recommend their services! Thank you Camco Construction!

Water Damage in a condo from a neighboring unit is never easy. I called CamCo the very night the water from upstairs was running through our smoke alarm. We discovered it was in our linen and hallway closests, in our kitchen cabinets upper and lower. A MESS! CamCo came and put in the dehumidifiers and took thermal picutures immediately. FINEALLY after playing pingpong with the other owners insurance, Our insurance made the claim and we were approved for every thing from asbestos abatement thru demo and reconstruction. Ryan, who is no longer there, Daniel McCurty who picked up Ryans place, Clint Cauthon and his team including Manor and Able (and a host of others I dont know the names of) did an excellent job of putting our Condo at Versailles Townhomes back togethter! As a past HOA Board member I had recommended CamCo and thier team company OneTom Plumbing many times. To my knowledge every workorder was completed professionally and at a fair price. As a Homeowner that experienced this calamity personally I can recommend them completely. If you have read this far I will give you a bit more. My husband was hospitalized for a broken leg when the originating event occured. In January he had a Liver Transplant and was just getting ready to come home after 122 days in the hospital when the work was approved and began. CamCo was extremely sensitive about all of our needs and we were actually able to be here through the entire experience. CamCo went way more than the extra mile. I will forever be grateful to this great team!

From the initial call to CAMCO to the very end, the process went smoothly. Everyone was fantastic, and customer service was excellent. The 3 project managers were excellent and communications was timely and clear. As for the sub-contractors, they were the best and ensured that the end result was top notch and the mess was cleaned up as if they were never there. I would highly recommend CAMCO for you construction and restoration needs.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Costs vary widely depending on the type and extent of damage. Minor repairs like roof patching or window replacement in Lebanon typically run between $500 and $3,000, while major structural repairs or full reconstruction can reach $20,000 or more.

Most Lebanon homeowners file a claim through their homeowner’s insurance, which covers the majority of storm-related losses after the deductible. CAMCO provides a detailed written estimate and works directly with your adjuster.

Timeline depends on the severity of damage and the scope of work. Emergency stabilization like tarping, board-up, and water extraction can happen the same day or within 24 hours. Structural repairs and full reconstruction typically take anywhere from one week to six weeks.

Lebanon properties with significant wind or hail damage that require roofing, siding, and interior repairs together may take longer, especially if insurance approvals are needed before work begins. CAMCO keeps you updated throughout the process.

In many cases, yes. The City of Lebanon and Wilson County require building permits for structural repairs, roofing replacements over a certain scope, and electrical or HVAC work. Cosmetic repairs like painting or minor patching typically do not require a permit.

CAMCO handles the permit application process on your behalf for all work that requires one. We are familiar with Lebanon’s local building requirements and make sure all repairs meet current code before the final inspection.

Most standard homeowner’s insurance policies in Lebanon cover wind, hail, lightning, and fallen tree damage as named perils. Flood damage caused by rising water is typically excluded and requires a separate flood insurance policy through the NFIP or a private carrier.

CAMCO works directly with all major insurance carriers and can help you document your claim properly. We provide detailed scope-of-loss reports that adjusters rely on to process Lebanon storm damage claims efficiently.
