When water damage strikes your Winchester home, you need a team that responds fast and gets it right. CAMCO Construction & Restoration brings IICRC-certified technicians, 24/7 emergency response, and direct insurance billing to every job. We restore your property quickly so you can get back to normal.
CAMCO Construction & Restoration provides Water Damage Restoration for homeowners across Winchester, TN. Winchester is the county seat of Franklin County, situated in the Tennessee Valley near the Elk River, with a population of roughly 9,000 residents.
Our crews work throughout Winchester’s established neighborhoods and well-known areas including the Hundred Oaks area, homes along Cowan Highway, and properties near the historic Franklin County Courthouse. We tailor our response to the older housing stock and soil conditions common in this part of the Tennessee Valley.
Our process covers emergency water extraction, structural drying with industrial dehumidifiers, moisture mapping, and full documentation for your insurance claim. We communicate daily about drying progress and stay on schedule so repairs begin as soon as the structure is dry.
Beyond water damage, our team also handles Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration, Mold Remediation, Storm Damage Repair, Flood Damage Restoration, and Contents Pack-Out and Cleaning. You can count on one crew for the full scope of recovery work.
We are currently scheduling projects in Winchester and surrounding Franklin County communities. Call us today to set up a consultation and get your restoration moving quickly.
We serve and surrounding communities throughout Franklin County and beyond, including Tullahoma, Cowan, Decherd, Estill Springs, and Huntland. If you are within driving distance of Winchester, our team can respond to your restoration emergency.
Burst pipes, appliance failures, and heavy rains can push water into walls and subfloors before you realize the damage is spreading. Our technicians arrive fast, extract standing water, and set industrial drying equipment to protect your home’s structure. Quick mitigation limits repair costs and prevents secondary mold growth.
Fires leave behind charred surfaces, embedded smoke odor, and soot that spreads far beyond the burn area. Our team cleans and deodorizes affected materials, removes unsalvageable components, and prepares your home for full reconstruction. We work with your insurance adjuster to document every item accurately.
Winchester’s humid summers and wet springs create ideal conditions for mold growth inside walls, crawl spaces, and attics. We locate hidden mold using moisture meters and infrared cameras, then safely remove contaminated materials following EPA guidelines. After remediation, we treat surfaces to reduce the chance of regrowth.
Severe storms rolling through Franklin County can strip shingles, crack siding, and drive rain into your attic and living spaces. We respond quickly to board up openings, install emergency tarps, and begin drying interiors before additional damage occurs. Our team manages repairs through to a fully restored property.
Flooding near the Elk River and low-lying areas of Winchester can overwhelm drainage and push water into homes with little warning. We remove floodwater, sanitize affected areas, and dry structural components to prevent long-term damage. Our crew handles contaminated water situations with proper protective protocols.
Once mitigation and drying are complete, your home often needs significant repairs to drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and framing. Our reconstruction team handles everything from replacing damaged subfloors to finishing trim work so you deal with one company instead of coordinating multiple contractors. We keep projects on schedule and within estimate.
We built our reputation by treating every property like our own and keeping homeowners informed at every step. Here is what sets our team apart on every restoration job.
Water damage does not wait for business hours. Our teams are available around the clock and arrive ready to work, minimizing damage from the first hour forward.
Every technician on our crew holds current IICRC certification. You get trained professionals using proven methods, not subcontractors learning on the job at your expense.
We work directly with your insurance carrier and document all damage thoroughly. This keeps your claim moving and removes the burden of paperwork from your plate.
We walk through the damage with you before work starts and explain every line item. No surprise charges appear on the final invoice after work is completed.

Protecting your property starts with recognizing damage early and calling a qualified team before minor issues become major repairs. Here are the problems we handle most often in the Winchester area.
Older homes throughout Winchester are prone to pipe corrosion, failing supply lines under sinks, and water heater leaks that go undetected behind walls. Heavy rainfall in Franklin County also overwhelms gutters and window seals on aging housing stock. Warning signs include stained ceilings, soft flooring, and a musty odor in enclosed spaces. We extract the water, dry the structure completely, and repair all affected materials.
Kitchen fires and fireplace accidents are among the most common causes of fire damage in Winchester homes, and the aftermath extends far beyond the visible burn area. Smoke particles penetrate insulation, ductwork, and personal belongings throughout the house, leaving persistent odor and residue. Many homeowners underestimate how far contamination spreads until they try to clean it themselves. Our crew removes damaged materials, deep cleans affected surfaces, and eliminates odor at the source.
Winchester’s location in the Tennessee Valley brings high relative humidity through spring and summer, creating ideal conditions for mold to colonize crawl spaces and basement walls. Homes with inadequate vapor barriers or poor drainage around the foundation are especially vulnerable after wet winters. Visible mold on floor joists or persistent musty odors are clear warning signs you should not ignore. We assess the full extent of contamination, remove affected materials safely, and improve moisture control to protect the space long term.
Severe thunderstorms and occasional high-wind events roll through Franklin County every spring and fall, leaving Winchester homes with missing shingles, cracked soffits, and broken window seals. Once the roof or exterior envelope is compromised, rainwater enters quickly and begins damaging insulation, framing, and interior finishes. Homeowners often discover the full extent of damage days after the storm when water stains appear on ceilings. We board up and tarp affected areas immediately, then manage all repairs from structural work through interior finishing.

Camco and their PM Taylor have been amazing to work with. I am in a rental, through a large company. Often times the most unprofessional techs show up and explain very little. Taylor was kind and professional. There was clear communication every step of their scheduling process as well as work. Taylor even left my garage and the area of work cleaner than when work was started. Won't hesitate to use Camco for future project.Posted on Google

Taylor and Anthony with were absolutely wonderful to work with during a stressful water issue in my home. They communicated clearly every step of the way and always made sure I understood what was being done and why. They were quick to respond, personable, professional, and incredibly thorough throughout the entire process. What really stood out was how dedicated they were to making sure everything was completely taken care of. They came by daily for 3 days to check the progress and took extra care to test and ensure there was no moisture left behind. Their attention to detail and consistency gave me a lot of peace of mind. I truly appreciated their hard work, professionalism, and kindness, and would highly recommend them to anyone.Posted on Google

When the ice storm of 2026 happened in Nashville, it damaged one of apartments from bursting pipes and water. I was told to find a "water mitigation" company by my insurance company. I was so glad to find Camco, already on another job on my street. They took charge of everything for me and also dealt directly with my insurance company and also acted promptly with great communication between us. Their employees did a great job for us. I highly recommend their services! Thank you Camco Construction!Posted on Google

Water Damage in a condo from a neighboring unit is never easy. I called CamCo the very night the water from upstairs was running through our smoke alarm. We discovered it was in our linen and hallway closests, in our kitchen cabinets upper and lower. A MESS! CamCo came and put in the dehumidifiers and took thermal picutures immediately. FINEALLY after playing pingpong with the other owners insurance, Our insurance made the claim and we were approved for every thing from asbestos abatement thru demo and reconstruction. Ryan, who is no longer there, Daniel McCurty who picked up Ryans place, Clint Cauthon and his team including Manor and Able (and a host of others I dont know the names of) did an excellent job of putting our Condo at Versailles Townhomes back togethter! As a past HOA Board member I had recommended CamCo and thier team company OneTom Plumbing many times. To my knowledge every workorder was completed professionally and at a fair price. As a Homeowner that experienced this calamity personally I can recommend them completely. If you have read this far I will give you a bit more. My husband was hospitalized for a broken leg when the originating event occured. In January he had a Liver Transplant and was just getting ready to come home after 122 days in the hospital when the work was approved and began. CamCo was extremely sensitive about all of our needs and we were actually able to be here through the entire experience. CamCo went way more than the extra mile. I will forever be grateful to this great team!Posted on Google

From the initial call to CAMCO to the very end, the process went smoothly. Everyone was fantastic, and customer service was excellent. The 3 project managers were excellent and communications was timely and clear. As for the sub-contractors, they were the best and ensured that the end result was top notch and the mess was cleaned up as if they were never there. I would highly recommend CAMCO for you construction and restoration needs.Posted on Google

Costs in Winchester typically range from $1,500 for a minor appliance leak to $15,000 or more for extensive flooding affecting multiple rooms and structural components. The final cost depends on the source of water, square footage affected, and whether mold has developed. Most homeowners file an insurance claim, and we provide full documentation to support your adjuster.
Structural drying in Winchester homes usually takes three to five days depending on the materials affected and the severity of saturation. If reconstruction is needed after drying is complete, additional time for repairs can range from a few days to several weeks for larger losses. We give you a clear timeline before work begins and update you as drying progresses.
Mitigation work like water extraction and drying typically does not require a permit in Winchester. However, reconstruction work involving structural repairs, electrical updates, or plumbing replacements may require permits through the City of Winchester or Franklin County building department. Our team identifies which portions of the work require permits and handles the application process on your behalf.
