Pulaski properties face a range of damage risks tied to local weather patterns and older housing stock. Knowing the warning signs helps you act before small problems become major repairs.
Pulaski homes, especially those built in the mid-20th century near downtown, often have aging supply lines and drain systems that can fail without warning. Heavy rain events common to southern Middle Tennessee push water through foundation cracks and overwhelmed drainage. Warning signs include water stains on ceilings, buckled flooring, and musty odors. Our team extracts water, dries the structure, and repairs the damage completely.
House fires in Pulaski can result from electrical issues in older wiring, kitchen accidents, or heating equipment during cold winter months. Even a small fire leaves smoke residue and soot embedded in walls, insulation, and ductwork that spreads odor throughout the home. Many homeowners do not realize how far smoke damage travels beyond the burn area. CAMCO performs thorough cleaning, deodorization, and structural repairs to fully restore affected spaces.
The warm, humid climate in Giles County creates persistent moisture conditions under homes and in lower levels, making mold a frequent problem for Pulaski property owners. Crawl spaces with poor vapor barriers and basements without proper waterproofing are especially vulnerable after wet seasons. Left untreated, mold spreads quickly and can affect indoor air quality throughout the entire structure. Our remediation process removes existing colonies and addresses the underlying moisture issue to stop regrowth.
Severe thunderstorms and occasional tornado activity across southern Tennessee can cause significant wind and hail damage to Pulaski homes in a matter of minutes. Missing shingles, cracked siding, and broken windows allow water to enter the structure almost immediately, compounding the original storm damage. Many homeowners discover the full extent of damage only after water stains appear inside. CAMCO’s storm restoration team responds fast to secure the property and complete all necessary repairs.
Our Pulaski customers consistently share positive feedback about our fast response and quality work. Check our Google reviews to see what local homeowners are saying about CAMCO Construction & Restoration.

Camco and their PM Taylor have been amazing to work with. I am in a rental, through a large company. Often times the most unprofessional techs show up and explain very little. Taylor was kind and professional. There was clear communication every step of their scheduling process as well as work. Taylor even left my garage and the area of work cleaner than when work was started. Won't hesitate to use Camco for future project.Posted on Google

Taylor and Anthony with were absolutely wonderful to work with during a stressful water issue in my home. They communicated clearly every step of the way and always made sure I understood what was being done and why. They were quick to respond, personable, professional, and incredibly thorough throughout the entire process. What really stood out was how dedicated they were to making sure everything was completely taken care of. They came by daily for 3 days to check the progress and took extra care to test and ensure there was no moisture left behind. Their attention to detail and consistency gave me a lot of peace of mind. I truly appreciated their hard work, professionalism, and kindness, and would highly recommend them to anyone.Posted on Google

When the ice storm of 2026 happened in Nashville, it damaged one of apartments from bursting pipes and water. I was told to find a "water mitigation" company by my insurance company. I was so glad to find Camco, already on another job on my street. They took charge of everything for me and also dealt directly with my insurance company and also acted promptly with great communication between us. Their employees did a great job for us. I highly recommend their services! Thank you Camco Construction!Posted on Google

Water Damage in a condo from a neighboring unit is never easy. I called CamCo the very night the water from upstairs was running through our smoke alarm. We discovered it was in our linen and hallway closests, in our kitchen cabinets upper and lower. A MESS! CamCo came and put in the dehumidifiers and took thermal picutures immediately. FINEALLY after playing pingpong with the other owners insurance, Our insurance made the claim and we were approved for every thing from asbestos abatement thru demo and reconstruction. Ryan, who is no longer there, Daniel McCurty who picked up Ryans place, Clint Cauthon and his team including Manor and Able (and a host of others I dont know the names of) did an excellent job of putting our Condo at Versailles Townhomes back togethter! As a past HOA Board member I had recommended CamCo and thier team company OneTom Plumbing many times. To my knowledge every workorder was completed professionally and at a fair price. As a Homeowner that experienced this calamity personally I can recommend them completely. If you have read this far I will give you a bit more. My husband was hospitalized for a broken leg when the originating event occured. In January he had a Liver Transplant and was just getting ready to come home after 122 days in the hospital when the work was approved and began. CamCo was extremely sensitive about all of our needs and we were actually able to be here through the entire experience. CamCo went way more than the extra mile. I will forever be grateful to this great team!Posted on Google

From the initial call to CAMCO to the very end, the process went smoothly. Everyone was fantastic, and customer service was excellent. The 3 project managers were excellent and communications was timely and clear. As for the sub-contractors, they were the best and ensured that the end result was top notch and the mess was cleaned up as if they were never there. Water damage restoration costs in Pulaski typically range from $1,500 for minor water intrusion to $8,000 or more for significant structural damage involving flooring, drywall, and insulation. Larger flood events or sewage-related damage can push costs higher depending on the scope. Most homeowners insurance policies cover a significant portion of these costs when damage results from a sudden, covered event.
Drying and mitigation in Pulaski homes generally takes three to five days depending on the extent of saturation and the materials affected. Full restoration and reconstruction, including flooring, drywall, and paint, can take one to three weeks. We provide a detailed timeline estimate after our initial assessment so you know exactly what to expect.
Permits in Pulaski are generally required when restoration work involves structural repairs, electrical work, or plumbing modifications. The City of Pulaski and Giles County building department oversee permit requirements for repair and reconstruction projects. CAMCO handles the permit process on your behalf so the work is fully compliant and your home’s value is protected.
Yes, CAMCO works directly with insurance adjusters on behalf of Pulaski homeowners to document damage, submit required reports, and support your claim throughout the process. We have experience with most major carriers and understand what documentation adjusters need to approve restoration work. Our goal is to take as much of that burden off your plate as possible.
