Our Services

Our Water Damage Restoration Services in Pleasant View

In addition to Pleasant View, CAMCO Construction & Restoration serves Ashland City, Clarksville, Springfield, Greenbrier, and communities throughout Middle Tennessee and beyond.

Water Damage Mitigation

Rapid mitigation stops secondary damage before it spreads through your walls, floors, and subfloor. Our technicians arrive fast, extract standing water, and deploy industrial drying equipment calibrated to Pleasant View’s humidity levels. Every step is documented for your insurance carrier.

Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration

A house fire leaves behind more than visible char. Smoke odor and soot penetrate drywall, insulation, and HVAC systems throughout Pleasant View homes. Our team removes damaged materials, neutralizes odors at the source, and rebuilds affected areas to pre-loss condition.

Mold Remediation

Middle Tennessee’s humidity creates ideal conditions for mold growth after any water intrusion. We locate hidden colonies behind walls and under flooring, safely contain and remove them, and treat surfaces to prevent regrowth. Clearance testing confirms your home is safe before we close up.

Storm Damage Restoration

Severe storms roll through Robertson County regularly, bringing hail, high winds, and heavy rain that compromise roofs and siding. CAMCO responds quickly to board up, tarp, and begin structural repairs so additional weather exposure does not compound your losses.

Flood Damage Restoration

Flash flooding along low-lying areas in and around Pleasant View can push water into basements, crawl spaces, and ground-floor living areas in minutes. We remove floodwater, treat for contamination, dry the structure thoroughly, and restore damaged finishes from the ground up.

Reconstruction Services

After mitigation is complete, many properties need full reconstruction before they are livable again. CAMCO handles framing, drywall, flooring, painting, and finish work in-house so you work with one contractor through the entire restoration process. No handoffs, no gaps.

Why Pleasant View Homeowners Choose CAMCO

We bring certified expertise, honest communication, and real emergency availability to every job we take in the Pleasant View area.

IICRC-Certified Technicians

Every technician on our crew holds current IICRC certification. That means your restoration follows proven industry standards, not guesswork.

We work directly with your insurance adjuster and handle all claim documentation. You avoid the paperwork headache during an already stressful time.

Common Problems We Fix for Pleasant View Property Owners

Knowing the warning signs early can limit damage and repair costs. Here are the most common issues we resolve for homeowners in the Pleasant View area.

Water Damage from Plumbing Failures and Storms

Burst pipes, failed supply lines, and leaking water heaters are among the leading causes of interior water damage in Pleasant View homes. Older construction along established roads like Cross Plains Pike can have aging plumbing that fails without warning. Left untreated, water wicks into framing and insulation within hours. Our team extracts moisture, maps the affected structure, and dries everything to manufacturer specs before any rebuild work begins.

Fire and Smoke-Related Damage

Even a contained kitchen fire can push smoke and soot into every room of a Pleasant View home through the HVAC system and wall cavities. Smoke residue is acidic and continues corroding surfaces long after the flames are out. Many homeowners underestimate how far the damage has traveled. CAMCO performs a full structural assessment, removes compromised materials, deodorizes at the source, and rebuilds affected areas so the home is safe and livable again.

Mold Growth in Damp Basements and Crawl Spaces

Robertson County’s warm, humid summers create persistent moisture problems under homes with inadequate ventilation. Pleasant View properties with crawl spaces are especially vulnerable after any water intrusion, whether from a plumbing leak or ground moisture. Mold can begin colonizing within 24 to 48 hours of exposure. Our remediation process includes containment, safe removal, antimicrobial treatment, and third-party clearance testing to confirm the area is clean before we seal it back up.

Storm Damage to Roofs, Siding, and Windows

Severe thunderstorms and occasional tornado warnings are a regular part of life in Middle Tennessee. Pleasant View sits in an area that sees damaging hail and straight-line winds capable of tearing off shingles and breaching siding. Once the building envelope is compromised, rain enters and water damage begins immediately. CAMCO responds with emergency tarping and board-up services, then completes full structural repairs to restore weatherproofing and protect your home from the next storm.

Camco and their PM Taylor have been amazing to work with. I am in a rental, through a large company. Often times the most unprofessional techs show up and explain very little. Taylor was kind and professional. There was clear communication every step of their scheduling process as well as work. Taylor even left my garage and the area of work cleaner than when work was started. Won't hesitate to use Camco for future project.

Taylor and Anthony with were absolutely wonderful to work with during a stressful water issue in my home. They communicated clearly every step of the way and always made sure I understood what was being done and why. They were quick to respond, personable, professional, and incredibly thorough throughout the entire process. What really stood out was how dedicated they were to making sure everything was completely taken care of. They came by daily for 3 days to check the progress and took extra care to test and ensure there was no moisture left behind. Their attention to detail and consistency gave me a lot of peace of mind. I truly appreciated their hard work, professionalism, and kindness, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

When the ice storm of 2026 happened in Nashville, it damaged one of apartments from bursting pipes and water. I was told to find a "water mitigation" company by my insurance company. I was so glad to find Camco, already on another job on my street. They took charge of everything for me and also dealt directly with my insurance company and also acted promptly with great communication between us. Their employees did a great job for us. I highly recommend their services! Thank you Camco Construction!

Water Damage in a condo from a neighboring unit is never easy. I called CamCo the very night the water from upstairs was running through our smoke alarm. We discovered it was in our linen and hallway closests, in our kitchen cabinets upper and lower. A MESS! CamCo came and put in the dehumidifiers and took thermal picutures immediately. FINEALLY after playing pingpong with the other owners insurance, Our insurance made the claim and we were approved for every thing from asbestos abatement thru demo and reconstruction. Ryan, who is no longer there, Daniel McCurty who picked up Ryans place, Clint Cauthon and his team including Manor and Able (and a host of others I dont know the names of) did an excellent job of putting our Condo at Versailles Townhomes back togethter! As a past HOA Board member I had recommended CamCo and thier team company OneTom Plumbing many times. To my knowledge every workorder was completed professionally and at a fair price. As a Homeowner that experienced this calamity personally I can recommend them completely. If you have read this far I will give you a bit more. My husband was hospitalized for a broken leg when the originating event occured. In January he had a Liver Transplant and was just getting ready to come home after 122 days in the hospital when the work was approved and began. CamCo was extremely sensitive about all of our needs and we were actually able to be here through the entire experience. CamCo went way more than the extra mile. I will forever be grateful to this great team!

From the initial call to CAMCO to the very end, the process went smoothly. Everyone was fantastic, and customer service was excellent. The 3 project managers were excellent and communications was timely and clear. As for the sub-contractors, they were the best and ensured that the end result was top notch and the mess was cleaned up as if they were never there. I would highly recommend CAMCO for you construction and restoration needs.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Costs in Pleasant View typically range from $1,500 for minor extraction and drying jobs to $15,000 or more for extensive structural damage requiring full reconstruction. The final number depends on the affected square footage, materials involved, and contamination level. Most homeowners use their insurance policy to cover the majority of these costs, and CAMCO works directly with your carrier.

A standard water damage drying and mitigation project in Pleasant View takes three to five days for the structural drying phase. If reconstruction is required after drying is complete, the full project can run two to six weeks depending on the extent of repairs. We provide a detailed timeline at the start of every job so you know what to expect.

Mitigation and drying work generally does not require a permit, but structural repairs and reconstruction in Pleasant View may require permits through Robertson County’s building department. CAMCO handles the permit application process for any work that requires it, keeping your project fully code-compliant and protecting your home’s resale value.

Most standard homeowner’s insurance policies in Pleasant View cover sudden and accidental water damage, such as a burst pipe or appliance failure, but typically exclude gradual leaks or flood damage from rising groundwater. Flood events generally require a separate NFIP or private flood policy. CAMCO reviews your coverage with you and documents the damage thoroughly to support your claim.
