Fire and smoke damage affects far more than the area where flames burned. Soot and odor can penetrate walls, cabinets, and HVAC systems throughout your Oak Hill home. We clean, deodorize, and restore affected materials to pre-loss condition.
Oak Hill’s humidity levels create conditions where mold can develop quickly after any moisture event. Our team identifies the source, contains the affected area, and removes mold using proven remediation protocols. We also treat surfaces to reduce the likelihood of regrowth.
Severe storms can damage roofs, siding, windows, and allow water to enter your home within minutes. CAMCO responds to storm-related emergencies across Oak Hill with emergency tarping, board-up services, and full structural repairs. We work directly with your insurer to simplify the claims process.
Flooding from heavy rain or rising water tables can cause serious damage to Oak Hill properties. Our flood restoration crew removes contaminated water, sanitizes affected areas, and rebuilds damaged structures. We handle both residential and commercial flood losses.
After mitigation is complete, your home may need significant repairs or full reconstruction. CAMCO’s in-house reconstruction team handles drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and structural work so Oak Hill homeowners never need to hire a separate contractor. One company manages the entire recovery.
We are a locally operated restoration company with the certifications, equipment, and experience to handle any size loss. Here is what sets our team apart.
Damage does not wait for business hours, and neither do we. Our crews are available around the clock and arrive quickly to begin mitigation before damage worsens.
Every technician on our team holds current IICRC certification in water damage restoration. You get trained professionals following industry-standard protocols on every job.
We work directly with all major insurance carriers and handle the documentation on your behalf. This reduces stress and keeps your claim moving forward without delays.
From emergency water extraction to complete reconstruction, we manage every phase in-house. You never need to coordinate multiple contractors or track down separate billing accounts.
Waiting even a few hours after water or storm damage can lead to mold growth and structural problems that cost far more to fix. CAMCO Construction & Restoration is ready to respond now with a fully equipped crew and clear communication throughout the process. Contact us today to get started.
Oak Hill homeowners face a range of property damage challenges throughout the year. Recognizing the warning signs early can limit damage and keep repair costs manageable.
Oak Hill’s older residential neighborhoods include many homes with aging plumbing that is prone to sudden failures. Burst pipes, leaking water heaters, and overflowing fixtures can saturate walls, floors, and subfloors within hours. Heavy seasonal rainfall also drives water through foundation gaps and window seals. Our team extracts the water, dries structural materials, and restores affected areas to prevent lasting damage.
A kitchen fire or electrical fault can leave smoke odor and soot residue throughout an entire Oak Hill home, even in rooms far from the origin. Smoke particles are acidic and can permanently stain surfaces and corrode metals if not treated quickly. Many homeowners underestimate how far contamination travels through ductwork and wall cavities. CAMCO cleans all affected materials, neutralizes odors, and rebuilds damaged areas to pre-loss condition.
Oak Hill sits in a region with humid summers that create ideal conditions for mold to develop in poorly ventilated basements and crawl spaces. Any unresolved moisture from a past water event can trigger mold colonies within 24 to 48 hours. Signs include musty odors, visible discoloration on walls, and unexplained allergy symptoms. Our remediation team locates the moisture source, removes contaminated materials, and treats surfaces to restore a safe indoor environment.
Severe thunderstorms and high winds move through Middle Tennessee regularly, and Oak Hill homes are not immune to the roof damage, broken windows, and compromised siding these storms leave behind. Once the building envelope is breached, water enters quickly and can saturate insulation and framing before the storm even passes. Delayed repairs significantly increase total restoration costs. CAMCO provides emergency tarping and board-up services immediately, then completes full structural repairs once conditions allow.

Camco and their PM Taylor have been amazing to work with. I am in a rental, through a large company. Often times the most unprofessional techs show up and explain very little. Taylor was kind and professional. There was clear communication every step of their scheduling process as well as work. Taylor even left my garage and the area of work cleaner than when work was started. Won't hesitate to use Camco for future project.Posted on Google

Taylor and Anthony with were absolutely wonderful to work with during a stressful water issue in my home. They communicated clearly every step of the way and always made sure I understood what was being done and why. They were quick to respond, personable, professional, and incredibly thorough throughout the entire process. What really stood out was how dedicated they were to making sure everything was completely taken care of. They came by daily for 3 days to check the progress and took extra care to test and ensure there was no moisture left behind. Their attention to detail and consistency gave me a lot of peace of mind. I truly appreciated their hard work, professionalism, and kindness, and would highly recommend them to anyone.Posted on Google

When the ice storm of 2026 happened in Nashville, it damaged one of apartments from bursting pipes and water. I was told to find a "water mitigation" company by my insurance company. I was so glad to find Camco, already on another job on my street. They took charge of everything for me and also dealt directly with my insurance company and also acted promptly with great communication between us. Their employees did a great job for us. I highly recommend their services! Thank you Camco Construction!Posted on Google

Water Damage in a condo from a neighboring unit is never easy. I called CamCo the very night the water from upstairs was running through our smoke alarm. We discovered it was in our linen and hallway closests, in our kitchen cabinets upper and lower. A MESS! CamCo came and put in the dehumidifiers and took thermal picutures immediately. FINEALLY after playing pingpong with the other owners insurance, Our insurance made the claim and we were approved for every thing from asbestos abatement thru demo and reconstruction. Ryan, who is no longer there, Daniel McCurty who picked up Ryans place, Clint Cauthon and his team including Manor and Able (and a host of others I dont know the names of) did an excellent job of putting our Condo at Versailles Townhomes back togethter! As a past HOA Board member I had recommended CamCo and thier team company OneTom Plumbing many times. To my knowledge every workorder was completed professionally and at a fair price. As a Homeowner that experienced this calamity personally I can recommend them completely. If you have read this far I will give you a bit more. My husband was hospitalized for a broken leg when the originating event occured. In January he had a Liver Transplant and was just getting ready to come home after 122 days in the hospital when the work was approved and began. CamCo was extremely sensitive about all of our needs and we were actually able to be here through the entire experience. CamCo went way more than the extra mile. I will forever be grateful to this great team!Posted on Google

From the initial call to CAMCO to the very end, the process went smoothly. Everyone was fantastic, and customer service was excellent. The 3 project managers were excellent and communications was timely and clear. As for the sub-contractors, they were the best and ensured that the end result was top notch and the mess was cleaned up as if they were never there. I would highly recommend CAMCO for you construction and restoration needs.Posted on Google

The final cost depends on the size of the affected area, materials involved, and how long the moisture was present. Most homeowner insurance policies cover a significant portion of these costs, and CAMCO handles direct billing to your insurer.
Most water damage mitigation projects in Oak Hill take three to five days for drying and extraction, depending on the extent of saturation. If reconstruction is required after drying, the full project timeline can extend to two to four weeks. CAMCO provides a clear project schedule upfront and keeps you updated at every stage.
Mitigation work such as water extraction and drying generally does not require a permit in Oak Hill. However, if reconstruction involves structural repairs, electrical work, or plumbing modifications, permits from Davidson County or the City of Oak Hill may be required.
