Lewisburg homes face a range of damage risks tied to local weather, aging infrastructure, and regional climate. Knowing the warning signs helps you act before a small problem becomes a major loss.
Many Lewisburg homes have older plumbing systems that become vulnerable to freezing during Tennessee cold snaps or simply fail with age. When a pipe bursts or an appliance line gives out, water spreads into walls, subfloors, and cabinets within hours. Warning signs include water stains on ceilings, warped flooring, and musty odors. CAMCO extracts the water, maps moisture with professional meters, and dries the structure completely before any repairs begin.
House fires in Lewisburg can start from kitchen accidents, electrical faults, or heating equipment during winter months. Even a contained fire leaves soot and smoke residue that penetrates walls, ductwork, and personal belongings. Lingering odors and discoloration are common warning signs that damage runs deeper than the visible burn area. Our team cleans every affected surface, deodorizes the space, and rebuilds structural elements that cannot be salvaged.
Middle Tennessee’s humidity makes Lewisburg crawl spaces and basements particularly prone to mold after any water intrusion event. Mold can begin colonizing within 24 to 48 hours of moisture exposure and often grows hidden behind drywall or under flooring. Watch for musty smells, allergy symptoms, or visible dark spotting along baseboards and walls. Our remediation process contains the affected area, removes mold safely, and addresses the moisture source to stop it from returning.
Severe storms track through Marshall County regularly, bringing high winds and hail that crack shingles, dent siding, and break window seals on Lewisburg homes. Once the roof or envelope is compromised, rainwater enters quickly and can cause extensive interior damage before the storm even passes. Signs include missing shingles, interior ceiling stains after rain, and drafts around windows that were not there before. CAMCO boards up openings immediately, then completes a full structural assessment and rebuild.

Camco and their PM Taylor have been amazing to work with. I am in a rental, through a large company. Often times the most unprofessional techs show up and explain very little. Taylor was kind and professional. There was clear communication every step of their scheduling process as well as work. Taylor even left my garage and the area of work cleaner than when work was started. Won't hesitate to use Camco for future project.Posted on Google

Taylor and Anthony with were absolutely wonderful to work with during a stressful water issue in my home. They communicated clearly every step of the way and always made sure I understood what was being done and why. They were quick to respond, personable, professional, and incredibly thorough throughout the entire process. What really stood out was how dedicated they were to making sure everything was completely taken care of. They came by daily for 3 days to check the progress and took extra care to test and ensure there was no moisture left behind. Their attention to detail and consistency gave me a lot of peace of mind. I truly appreciated their hard work, professionalism, and kindness, and would highly recommend them to anyone.Posted on Google

When the ice storm of 2026 happened in Nashville, it damaged one of apartments from bursting pipes and water. I was told to find a "water mitigation" company by my insurance company. I was so glad to find Camco, already on another job on my street. They took charge of everything for me and also dealt directly with my insurance company and also acted promptly with great communication between us. Their employees did a great job for us. I highly recommend their services! Thank you Camco Construction!Posted on Google

Water Damage in a condo from a neighboring unit is never easy. I called CamCo the very night the water from upstairs was running through our smoke alarm. We discovered it was in our linen and hallway closests, in our kitchen cabinets upper and lower. A MESS! CamCo came and put in the dehumidifiers and took thermal picutures immediately. FINEALLY after playing pingpong with the other owners insurance, Our insurance made the claim and we were approved for every thing from asbestos abatement thru demo and reconstruction. Ryan, who is no longer there, Daniel McCurty who picked up Ryans place, Clint Cauthon and his team including Manor and Able (and a host of others I dont know the names of) did an excellent job of putting our Condo at Versailles Townhomes back togethter! As a past HOA Board member I had recommended CamCo and thier team company OneTom Plumbing many times. To my knowledge every workorder was completed professionally and at a fair price. As a Homeowner that experienced this calamity personally I can recommend them completely. If you have read this far I will give you a bit more. My husband was hospitalized for a broken leg when the originating event occured. In January he had a Liver Transplant and was just getting ready to come home after 122 days in the hospital when the work was approved and began. CamCo was extremely sensitive about all of our needs and we were actually able to be here through the entire experience. CamCo went way more than the extra mile. I will forever be grateful to this great team!Posted on Google

As for the sub-contractors, they were the best and ensured that the end result was top notch and the mess was cleaned up as if they were never there. Costs in Lewisburg typically range from $1,500 for minor water extraction to $15,000 or more for major flooding with structural repairs. The final number depends on the extent of damage, materials affected, and how quickly mitigation begins. Most standard homeowner policies cover a significant portion of the cost, and CAMCO works directly with your insurer to document everything accurately.
The drying and mitigation phase for a Lewisburg home usually takes three to five days using commercial dehumidifiers and air movers. Reconstruction work, such as replacing drywall, flooring, or cabinetry, can add one to three weeks depending on the scope. CAMCO keeps you updated throughout so you always know where the project stands.
Permits in Lewisburg are generally required when restoration involves structural repairs, electrical work, or plumbing replacement, all of which fall under Marshall County building codes. Cosmetic repairs like painting or flooring typically do not require a permit. CAMCO pulls all necessary permits on your behalf and schedules any required inspections so you stay fully compliant.
Absolutely. CAMCO documents all damage with detailed photos, moisture readings, and written assessments that your insurance adjuster needs to process your Lewisburg claim efficiently. We communicate directly with your insurer throughout the project to prevent delays and disputes. Our goal is to make sure you receive the coverage you are entitled to under your policy.
